Knob in second row arm rest

Knob in second row arm rest
My nephew was in the car and noticed a knob on the bottom of the second row seat armrest in my 2024 B GLS 580. I never ride in back and didn't know what it is. I goggled it and cant find out what it is for, anyone know ?

Tell him to leave it alone and don't push any buttons back there! 
As said above, it adjust the arm rest angle when it's in the "down" position. Imagine a typical 90 degree angle for the perfect/standard armrest position but with the dial one can adjust it to a more upward or downward position.
