When I purchased my 2024 GLS450, all of the latch covers were missing for the seats. I am having a hard time locating the right part to replace the cover. Anyone have any luck finding replacements?

Is this a recent purchase? CPO? If so,just ask your dealer to provide them.

It was a CPO. They said they are not going to provide, as it’s not part of CPO certification. I bought it 5 hours away, otherwise would just show up and wait until they provided from another car. Odd that I can’t locate them anywhere.

I would call Mercedes customer service. Actually may be a safety warranty/violation. I would mention I would hate to contact MB after an accident on CPO.

it’s a latch cover, the latch is in working order. The cover just covers the latch from view. Certainly not a safety issue. It’s a little piece of plastic.

It's something that your dealer should be able to get you free of charge.

When I bought my 2016 GL450 as a CPO, it was missing the tonneau cover. They had one shipped directly to me! That's way more expensive than your latch covers!

These are part of the interior trim, line item #97. It's a cover that comes with the vehicle to hide the anchors. A CPO should include this.

line 77 refers to tire wear. the dealer has already told me it’s not covered.

I am looking for someone that has ordered them. What was the part number and where do they find them.

Sorry I meant line item #97. It's definitely a trim piece and should be provided by that dealership. You should call out this dealership for poor CPO service.

Agreed. I would not work w/this dealer for the foreseeable future. The tonneau cover my dealer shipped to me costs ~$100 today and they definitely "made it right"!

I appreciate all the banter back and forth on whether or not the dealer should have supplied them.

However, it doesn’t solve my problem of being no able to locate them. If anyone has replaced them, I would welcome a part number or where they were purchased.
