hmm..does anyone know if the keys are reprogrammable?? Since my keys are cracking and this key could save me some troubles.

You can buy the case then switch out the circuitry. I did that when one of my keys cracked.

They are not reprogrammable period. Buying a used key is a complete waste of money, unless of course you need parts from it or the case. Dealers are not allowed by Mercedes to have the system necessary to program keys, so all requests for keys go into the central MB office and are programmed there. So the only way to get a key programmed is to buy it through the dealer or a MB authorized reseller.
