FS W211 Trunk Closer Mechanism

..Purchased this recently from the "part out" of the E55, my transaction went quite smoothly actually.

Decided against installing because I'm convinced the guys who do the "trunk check" at the Logan airport will continually try to force this closed! As I've discovered via research and personal verification, all 211's from '03 will take this setup as they have the holes and studs in place as well as the switch nacelle on the door. Everything included both door and trunk switches, closer itself, cover plate, etc. Will need a short wiring harness from closer to trunk SAM.

For sale for what I paid; I'll take the haircut on shipping to you free. $400.

where are you located (boston, I assume)?

are you selling the electronic trunk closer (the option that was available on e55's)?

can you please post pics of everything that is included?

you will need the harness from trunk lid to trunk lid motor harness as well for the trunk button. Also, recommend changing the trunk lid struts which are not very expensive.

Trunk Closer

OK will try to post pics this weekend. I know that Sunlip has converted a CLK but not sure what he means by the struts as the E class lid is supported by springs?
