Is this for the 06 E55 and where does it plug into? I have Navi. with phone buttons but do not see where it plugs into.

for the 06, pls check your center arm rest console. open it and see if there is a black plastic piece that you can plug this puck.

is your center arm rest the "sliding type"? i know this will not work on 2005, not sure on the 06

pardon my ignorance..How does it actually works ? I have the sliding kind center consiole on my 06 E55,so would it work ?

C2, sorry for the late reply. slide open the ctr arm rest, look to see if there is a "blk latch", triangle, towards the back seat way, that is for the puck to slide on. if you do have that, you are good to go
