For sale is an almost-new MOMO shift knob for your automatic Benz (or other car). This knob fits most automatic vehicles without a D3/OD button on the shift lever. I bought this knob last year, installed it for less than a week on my wife's truck (Infiniti FX45), and then took it out because she didn't really like it. My loss is going to be your gain!
