WTB: OEM Phone Prewiring - 10-conductor wire
Hi all,
I am looking for a part of the Phone pre-wiring that EVERY US-based D2B MB has, and possibly others.
This part can be found for sure in 2002-2004 W203s, and I am sure most other models will have it as well.
It is a 10-conductor wire + clear connector. In the pre-facelift W203, one end of the cable is found under the carpet on the right side of the transmission hump, and the other end is inside the upper compartment of the centre console. The cable itself is quite long, and it is bundled at the transmission hump end. I do not need the whole cable: 30cm or so including the connector will do.
The connector looks like RJ-45 (ie standard Ethernet), but has 10 pins instead of 8.
If you do not have the TEL option installed, the cable serves absolutely no purpose. Easy way for you to make a few bucks. If you have a trashed W203 lying around, you will have one of these too.
Thanks!
