This is a rare Zebrano wood console trim panel for any Mercedes 124 chassis. This wood piece is BRAND NEW and was never installed on a car. It is in flawless condition, there are no cracks in the clearcoat, no scratches, no fading. I bought this wood piece several years ago, but sold the car before I had time to install it, and I no longer need it.
MSRP on this piece from Mercedes is $390 and the last time I checked, Mercedes only had 1 left in the world. This wood piece was original equipment in the 124 long wheelbase (limousine) models sold in Europe. It has 3 additional full-size rocker-switch holes between the normal rear window switches, an extra "child safety" small slide-switch hole, plus holes for the factory stereo fader and seat heating switches. You can use the extra holes to add factory switches for your aftermarket equipment, such as:
* ASR (traction control) defeat
* First gear start mode selection
* Remote switch for radar detector
* Central lock switch
* Stereo system
* Nitrous oxide system
* Methanol injection system
* Aftermarket alarm system
* Etc, etc...
Please note that you are buying the WOOD TRIM ONLY, not any of the accessory systems described above. You will need to provide the factory switches and wiring. A sample photo of what this looks like installed in a car is show in the third photo below. This trim allows you to make your aftermarket switches look like they were factory options! Much cleaner looking than cheesy aftermarket switches that don't match the rest of the interior.
