I've been waiting to get my car out with this ugly weather.....but will grab a couple pictures and put them up. It may seem a little spendy, but is one of the few things that you are guaranteed to touch every time you start her up...You will forget about the money in just a few minutes!
but like you said every time i get on the car that is the first thing to grab and look at the whole time hahah... def a beautiful piece. I cant wait to see some pics

Is it the ultra soft nappa leather Mercedes is using on the new premium models? My MP-Design wheel is easily 6 or 7 years old and the leather has hardened so much that it feels more like vinyl/plastic. It also has the old button-style shifters on the back. Got me tempted...

its the soft leather yes... ask Allen too he will give you more of description coming from someone else other than me since i am so used to it and holding it everyday... i havent seen a nicer wheel on these cars honestly

I don't think you''ll find that to be true. I checked with the guys that so many others have used here, and they do a beautiful job. But with a flat bottom, perforated leather, and the improved "grips", they wanted nearly this much, and I had to give them my core. Also, 4 weeks to get it to me (althoughI see from several posts that it could be longer). By the time I figured in the paddles, Berti's wheel was less, or certainly nearly the same, and I had no down time and kept my core. Now I don't have to give it away with the car when I sell it.
It is the best mod I think I have made to my car. It looks and feels great. Just get one!

should fit the SL but not sure about the R230 might want to check around... the aplication is for e55 e63 cls etc as long as you match the airbag to the e55 you can fit it on any of them
