FS: CLK55 AMG Instrument Cluster
Up for sale is a CLK55 AMG instrument cluster, I had this installed in my C32 AMG. It is in KMS
The odometer reads 78xxx kms
Price: $200 OBO
The cluster has one weird problem which I'm going to try to explain. I live in Canada and only during the winter months do I experience this issue. When it is extremely cold outside, the speedometer needle won't go past 80km/h until the unit has warmed up. The digital speed reads accurately, just not the needle, and only when it is cold. In the summer and spring, I never face the issue.
Willing to ship anywhere, at buyers expense of course.

There are two ways you can fit this on the 32
1) Slide it in place without the back covering
OR
2) There is another part that you can purchase and install (forgot the name) that allows perfect fitment. The cost was fairly nominal around $50
I suggest option 2 because it's not that costly.

why dont you sell that "extra piece" since you took this cluster out? Probably would get significantly more interest saving people the trouble to find this. Just my $.02. Plus from what I've heard it requires a good deal of modification from others that have done this. More than just a simple extra piece you have to add. Was this somehow not the case for you?

Although I did not install in myself, I was told it was fairly straight forward. I sold the car with the "extra piece" as I didn't want to go through the process of removing it, considering I didn't put it in myself. Hope that clears up some questions.
