I think we are going to have to agree to disagree on speeds. The speed the F1 got at Nardo are well below the speeds of the CCR.

Besides, the CCR has a 180HP advantage over the F1, as well as a lower CoD. I dont see anyway the F1 could out accellerate the CCR, especially considering the fact that the are geared very similar.

We can disagree on many things, but not this one.

I have a video if you want to see, you can PM me. its 3,8 Megs. Its inboard of low quality, but you get the accelration from app 200 kph and all the way until it tops out at 241 mph/ 392 kph. And you get the breat taking sound of the V12 at full song.
This is also refered to in many sources on the net and on several car mags on that time.

The CCR did max out at app the same, in very cold outside temp, with the Kompressor in the CCR that did not hurt the performance.

Yes the CCR has 180 Hp more, all the more impressive for the F1, dont you agree. It took 13 years before any car was in the same territory.
Who cares if the one is a few mph faster or slower, they are still the fastets cars on the planet. Even higly modified cars are having problems reaching those speed without breaking anything.

Personaly I like the style of the F1 much better than the CCR, but that we can disagree on

I would not mind driving any of them

Would it be different if the car was made by a couple of German guys?

Whatever keys I grab first...
Erik,

We been through this before?

Yeah, maybe, however so, I remain firm in holding my position in regards to the SL600 times, and no magazine you can produce can change my thought on the matter. Period.

Have a nice day.

In regards to the times the CCR or whichever Koenigsegg puts out, it had better beat me-- espically in that price range.

Being a young, broke, college student....I think any car over $100,000 would meet my fancy let alone a half million dollar work of automotive history.

if i had the CC, I would probably sleep with it in the garage and put a plastic dentist tube in my mouth so the drool wouldnt get all over the seats.

If I had a Koenigsegg, I'd sell it and put the money down for an SLR.
