Porsche so OLD I couldn't tell what it was
In merging on PCH I let a pretty bright new blue 380z go in front of me. It was nice seeing such a pretty new car and I enjoyed looking at it pass.
Then, all of the sudden, this old black porsche from like, 1980 or something, tries to vroom around and pull in tight behind the z, in front of me. I had the lane so I barely had to accelerate to block him out and make him have to go behind me - ha ha.
Of course, the SLK55 sounds like its racing, even if I only accelerate a little, so I don't know what the guy thought, but I was just having fun, like hoping he actually would zip around and play sportcars thru traffic - just light easy giggle fun.
Like his car, the guy was some oldtimer and instead of playing he gets real mad and says thru his window as he had to brake and give up, "KISS MY ***!" Gosh he was pissed!
I was a bit confused as all was not a big deal and I was just havin a bit of fun, but 2 seconds later I replayed the has been with his has been car and burst out laughing. What a dweeb! And I thought, "Hey, that was fun!"

What a *****. I hate when people try to cut in front of me with barely enough room. the other day I had a guy pull right in front of me within a couple of feet only to have the car in front of him immediately slam on the brakes because of another car turning.
I almost hit him, but my ABS saved me. Then, the guy curses and speeds off with an attitude acting like everyone else were bad drivers! It's enough to **** anyone off!
So, like you, I realized that I cannot leave any room between me and the car in front of me. If I do, someone will try to zoom in.

Did it look like a 911? If not, did it look like the engine was in the middle like a ferrari, if not did the head lights pop up. Or were they always out. IF engine is int he middle, 914, if the head light pop up 944, or 924, always out is a 968, or 928. Now to tell the difference between a 928 and a 968 is in the rear. THe 968 has glass all the way down and looks more like a hatchback. the 928 has solid metal for rear no window down the side, and a spoiler at the back. Hope that helped.
