c55 vs s500?

c55 vs s500?
Ok, the funniest thing just happen to me. Im on the 210east (pasadena) and im driving along 80 talking with my friend, when all of a sudden there is a silver 05 s500 coming right next to me. At first, i didnt really expect anything but was just driving, then he floors it and trys to cut me off (please take in the fact that im in the carpool lane with both double lines and there is no traffic at all). The funny thing is, he signaled so then i knew he was trying to cut me off (LOL), then i punch it, he actually tried to get into my lane, then cautiously moved back, and then i saw him as i was staring at the world through my rearview. He was a young black guy, after about like 130 i didnt see him anymore (by then i was going through very mild traffic). Well anyways, thats my kill story, i just got my car like 3 weeks ago so i couldnt really push it til i get it really broken in. I have a funny 350z story, but u guyz probably dont want to hear it. Stand corrected. I thought they both had the same non SC V8. Even more reason why the C55 would walk away from the S500.

no offense made in saying he was a "black guy", im sorry if i did. if he was white or any other ethnicity i would have stated it also. i am not a racist person, and certainly not to african americans.

They are the same bore(pistons obviously as well) but the 5.5L has a longer stroke.

This is what I'm told by Jeff as far as the rods,crank and pistons are concerned.The A/F idea is what comes to my mind as a result of this.I think Jeffrey also mentioned that the rod pin is also located higher up in the 5.5L piston as opposed to the pistons used in the 5.0L.
