MY MB WAS LEMON'D
Not A Kill, But A Tie ......

So I was cruising down the 57 freeway this evening after having dinner, along side of me was a Chrysler 300 with fat 22" wheels (they looked nice)....so I was driving along minding my own business going about 70mph..... then the 300 took off on me and I followed him to the off ramp (we both happen to get off at the same exit)..... we come to a light and ahead of us was a good 3/4 mile straight away with nobody around. I'm not a big racer and never have raced anybody before... so I thought I would give it a try and hope to post a kill story on this board. So the light turned green and we both punched it........... we were neck to neck all the way up to about 90mph and finally had to come to a stop as we caught up to the traffic in front of us.... I was pretty impressed that i kept up with him with my E320.... I was thinking to myself that he must have had the lower model 300 as im sure i would have gotten smoked in the HEMI model..... it felt good to put the pedal to the medal until you hear that click sound on the gas pedal floor...... Anyhow, this is my somewhat of a kill story and thought i would share it with everybody..... It makes me wish that I got the E500 or E55 now. ... I guess maybe next time

Good race, that click sound is a button under your pedal is called the kickdown button (it delays changes or downshifts gear for maximum acceleration).

Those 22's weigh a ton and must have hindered his acceleration, gotta think. Good Tie!
