C32 (modded) v. C55

Finally got the opportunity to do a brief run with a (presumably stock) C55. Ran from 60 to about 110. I pulled on him pretty steadily, but I would not say "quickly" (maybe 3-4 carlengths). Guy was cool. . . gave a thumbs up afterwards. That C55 motor sounded awesome when it downshifted (my car kicked down into third, and I assume that his did too). Not really a fair race (modded v. unmodded) and I hope he didn't get depressed thinking that a stock C32 munched on his C55. Anyways, I would love to run a C55 with a few mods (exhaust, pulley, chip).

Also had a F355 Spider try to run me yesterday, but I was in a hurry and my exit was right there. ). Would've been a good one.

Yeh, i dont like C55s for some reason. I think the supercharger works better on a C, instead of a V8. Also, the C32 is faster than a CLK55 (208).

That wasn't really the point of my post, but your opinion is great, and probably shared by alot of 32 owners. As for me, I would gladly do a straight-across trade my 32 for a 55 with equal mileage (like that will happen ). I especially like the 55 dash/interior upgrades, the larger wheels, and the decklid spoiler. I would love to own a supercharged 55!!!!! Until then, I am very happy with my 32

actually to be honest, I think a C55 with a chip, filters, and headers would either run dead even with a C32 in mild weather, would beat the C32 in warmer weather, and would maybe barely loose to the C32 in cool weather. Like i said, RENNTech headers are the best mod for the C55... it will sound meaner and should gain around 20rwhp and 25rwtq!!!
