audi a8 vs cl500.....

i drive an ///M6
audi a8 vs cl500.....
not tremendously exciting, however, who am i not to enjoy a little "toast" once in a while..... i was on an onramp to my local freeway and an audi a8 4.2 was behind me, and proceeded to get close enough to read my vin#, so around the bend we both went and i rolled into it ever so smoothly.. he stayed for about 1/2 sec and slowly faded back as we approached about 110mph. he ended up at about 15-20 cars back. as i exited the freeway i slowed to let him by to confirm he was a 4.2. smiled and nodded as he went by- decent fella

thats good... but why would he check your vin... or is that just an expression to state how close he was?

The rims could be a little bigger just for stability and appearance reasons.
I think they are 17.8in or 8.5in.

thnx, guys, i try to keep it a little unique, most cl's i've seen have chrome or amg wheels. they are 18x8.5 front and rear

Nice the 4.2s either have 290 or 310 horses depending on their year. Watch out for the D2 S8 that car is a sleeper. I owned one b4 the m3 and sometimes really wish i still had it. Great sleeper car 360 horses but i modded mind to 410 snif snif i miss her
