encounter with S550...
sadly, i was in my E320 instead of 55... and did not stand a chance with that car...
ended up behind him at the red, lights turned green and he punched it... not much growl from the engine, but i can hear some engine whine as he redline first gear. the car seems to lag a bit off the line but it pulled away 2-3 cars and continues to pull once it picked up speed... (i know that doesn't say much against a E320) but it was silky smooth accel.
the car was brand new, and obviously taking care of this car was not his first priority as he scraped the front fender when turning at high speed into a dip at the intersection. i figure he probably works at one of the dealers... and was just having some fun with a demo.

I hate it when people destroy brand new cars. If you're going to take it out for a joy ride, at least know how to drive it.

Nothing wrong with driving a new car.
