this quote made me smile. i was on a three lane highway one evening with nobody in sight, and this neon comes up my a$$, then comes up next to me. what does he do? downshifts and gooses the gas. i'm like "not again" as this just happened to me the other day with the red one (didn't race him as we were in the MIDDLE of traffic). so we run twice from about 50-115mph. 1st time i figured i got the jump on him, so we both slow down again and wait till the hwy straightens out. he honks twice, third time i'm floored. by now i can't even hear my car at 5k rpm because of his exhaust and bov. by 115mph he was only about 3 cars behind me. i honestly thought that i would've done better. so we slow down and i try to see who it was and give him props, but he just completely slowed down and got off at the next exit. he ran away like a scared puppy.

All of these instances had one thing in common, these cars were being driven by idiot kids.

I dont think it has anything to do with idiot kids I have had 60 year olds in midlife crisis vettes go at me. I do egg some poeple on for fun, and im 20 so I guess you could sum me up into the idiot kid group. I think its just idiot drivers no matter the age.

i am now fast approaching 40 yet i still enjoy using the all the performance my car has to offer and if i happen to come along side a worthy opponent i will certainly enjoy a friendly race,...but i draw the limit at doing anything reckless, with age comes wisdom! .
All too often i see young kids pulling stupid stunts, overtaking where there is little or no view of whats ahead, taking bends too fast and weaving in and out of traffic. and all too often i read/hear about the results of this kind of behaviour
you can drive fast and drive safe... just keep well within yours and your cars limits and use your common sense

My little brother has a SRT 4...
He also makes a whopping $11.35 an hour. However he does drive it safely.
Oh and further more, EVERY time he can get my 06 Mercedes C230 he begs for it to take his girl friend out, as she is impressed by the Mercedes crusing class and the little SRT 4 gets him not one bit of back seat action! But he says he hits a home run in the Benz every time.
