Man you bike guys really do get defensive. Its like noone should ever say they beat a bike. And if they do beat a bike , then the bike was crap. And this socalbenz555 guy.....you need to chill dude. Your attitude is less than desirable here on the forums. Do us a favor and calm the F down.
I also agree with the person who posted earlier.....this reoccuring argument about bike vs car is retarded. I myself am not a bike person......I think they are death traps. But I am all for people having them. I'm all about freedom to do what you want. If you want to kill yourself on a bike then so be it......I just feel safer hitting something in the benz!

This was once again a rediculous thread. The 2 bike guys are way too sensitive and are probably nothing more than internet tough guys. They are talking about how fast they and their bikes are.........good for them! I ride as well and I wouldn't go anywhere near a Jap bike. The Jap brigade always seem like they have something to prove.........but that's a whole other debate.
Street racing is basically down to who has the biggest *****, and God forbid if the road actually has a curve in it....the better driver/rider. I have humiliated bikes (big bore sport bikes) on mountain roads and the straights.........maybe not because I was 'on paper' faster........they usually run out of skill and/or ***** pretty quickly. Most of the time it isn't worth the effort watching them turn into road pizza in my rear view....and before you get all bent out of shape.....I am a bike guy.

OK, I know this thread has been beaten like a red-headed step child, but...I just had to post another "fun run" with a GSXR 600 with a Yoshi pipe. Yeah, I know...it was only a 600 so from about a 25 mph roll, I gave him the go, about 1 1/2 cars and then hit it. I blew by him so fast he didn't know what hit him. Oh, did I mention that it was about 95 degrees outside, the A/C was on full blast, and I had two large passengers, all enjoying the nice surround sound music. All that was missing was the "pulse" back massage. You gotta love it baby!

If you were to look at it from a straight horsepower-to-weight ratio, a stock 600 would have me by almost 2.5 to 1. This bike wasn't stock (Yoshi pipe). Now, as you would like, I bow down to all motorcycles, they are supremely fast and I have no right to say that I can beat a "5 year old girl" but my point was, I had 3 adults in the car, road temp was probably well over 100 degrees and I had the A/C on full blast. I left him like a psychotic girlfriend. I'm sure it was impressive to anyone watching, including him. I look forward to rolling out with a 1000 cc monster bike some day to see how bad I lose. But until that time, any bike that wants to go, well, I'm glad to oblige. So far I'm 2-0. Bring it.

Base Price: 2006 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 - Approx. $1,700,000
Now that is interesting..... for the price of 170 R1s it can go faster...
R1 quicker on 0-60MPH anyway![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Performance ratings (C/D est):
Zero to 60 mph: 2.9 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 6.0 sec
Zero to 150 mph: 11.0 sec
Zero to 200 mph: 22.0 sec
Standing 1/4-mile: 10.8 sec @ 140 mph
nahhh..... Never mind... My Busa about 1.5 seconds quicker.....
Ask you friend if he wants race for pinks.... 1/4 mile , 10 times in one day, no adjustments, modifications, rubber changes alloved. Sealed hood and pump gas only.
If I won 10 times in a row he looses his Veron.
If I lose 1 time he can start his trophy collection by owning my bike...

Key Words: Stop to top.
Crotch rockets are land missiles. Eventually they will hit and kill something.
Anyone who needs an explanation of how "superbikes are faster than supercars" probably isn't on this board... Now, if you actually take that factor into case, a Veyron is one of the only cars that could actually take a bike. Stop to top.
That is all.

I passed a 600 hornet witch was cruising around 200km/h at 240km/h with my dad G55kAMG. The guys idn't understood how such a mass could go so fast.
Then after few miles I slowed down and he did this

This one time I beat a E55 and M5 in one go in a '94 Civic DX 1.5L 5-speed (bone stock, but it must have been a "factory freak" or something). Houston street in NYC. We line up at the light. I look right at the E55 driver, I look left at the M5 driver and I "rev" the engine. I can tell they're nervous, because they're both scared to even look at me.
Traffic light for the other street turns yellow. Then red. I know our light will turn green in exactly 1.375 seconds. They don't know my secret weapon: launching in 4th. I won't have to shift once between 0 and 48MPH, while their transmissions will be working overtime.
As soon as the light turns green, I gun it. I immediately start to pull on them. I put on so much distance so quickly it's almost like they're not even moving. By the time I get to the next light, I've already put a block on them. I look back, and the M5 has his left turn signal on and the E55 has his right turn signal on. As you all know, given their respective positions relative to me, those were the universal acknowledgments that I had absolutely pwned them. Yeah, baby!
I know, I know: Some of you will quibble that the M5 was only an E39 and the E55 was only a W210. But hey, a kill is a kill...
