So I am minding my own business driving conservativley. Trying to make sure the gas gauge doesn't drop like sand in an hour glass. In my rearview mirror I see a Trans Am GTA, maybe 89-91 style coming up quick. Stop light ahead so I pull over into pole position and he is in the left lane next to me. Unfortunately there are two cop cars at the hot dog stand on the corner so we can't go from a dig. Proceed about 1/4 mile at legal speeds and we come up on traffic. I have to get behind him to pass a slower car and then it's on. I am behind him agoing about 60 and he guns it. I was able to merge into the next lane and pass hiim like he was standing still from 60-100ish. I slowed down enough for him to catch up and he had an ear to ear grin and gave me a big thumbs up. Guess he now knows that AMG > GTA...

Nice, reading your story when I got to the part about conserving gas I had assumed this would be a story of the GTA blowing by you and you having to watch helplessly (the cops and all) but I read on and saw that you beat him, good story.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying my hardest to get more stories. Seems like I am always stuck behind minivans while M3/NSX/Cobras/Ricers are always on the other side of the road!! Frustrating but got to be patient...
