BTW cldriver, what was the trap speed of those 1/4 mile times you saw, 13.7 is significantly slower than the published numbers I've seen. I always heard 13.2

God I hope a 350+ hp 350+ lb/tq V8 beats a I-6 that makes 333hp and 278 lb/tq. Not a fair race ... not fair either to compare 3.2 liters to 5.5 liters, also lets not mention the M3 came out in 02 and your C55 came out in what 05. The difference between SMG and your C55 transmission is night and day, again SMG does not have a torque converter that your C55 has.. I am not even going to bother to explain it you need to go read about it...

Here go read about http://auto.howstuffworks.com/sequential-gearbox.htm
SMG

Then go read about an auto transmission that a C55 has

M3 makes 262lb.ft of tq. It is a fair race as they're veey different cars but closely matched speed wise. M3's have always been about more than drag races.

BTW, 6-speed stick shift is the only way to roll on an M3.

Same here. Seems like he changed his name back or something. His sig changes everyday too; and his tone of "voice" on the forums has changed significantly over the past week.

Seems like it happened since the forum upgrades. Who are you and what have you done to Ricky?!
