Working hard to slag other members? As opposed to you post-whoring here right now. No, actually as I understand it, if you are a friend of a moderator and do not agree with more than one member on this forum, you have the right to argue, complain, insult and disagree with other members, multiple members, and when they objectively disagree or provide information contradictory to what you say is "word", you can complain to aforementioned moderator to have members banned, because "they insulted me" 
As I stated earlier, this forum has turned into a gathering of whining children. It adversely affects those who are here to gather, discuss, and compare stories, thoughts, ideas, and experiences. You can't have it both ways, either objective discussions about different topics, or don't discuss the topics at all. But as I look through posts it appears, not one, not two but dozens of members have an issue with the same sensitive member who runs and complains to the moderators.
Whatever, I am sure you'll close this post too, because that is what you moderators do when people express their disgust.

I agree with your point regarding discuss, compare, etc. In the previous thread, you and Alan continued to go back and forth with other members even after politely being asked to ease off the attack dog posting style. But you could not stop doing it.
Argue about the merits of car A versus car B until the cows go home, but when people start throwing in the personal attacks, threads get closed.
And you are always welcome to report any post you deem offensive on any level.

I will ask the same question of you that I asked of that individual and the other moderator. What was said by either of us that was so insulting, that hasn't been trumped by the other individual. Allanlambo and I both provided a deluge of information in contradiction or comparison to that other user and still the persistence and antagonism proceeded by said user. By your own rules "You agree, through your use of the Discussion Forums, that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.", there was no abusive, defamatory, innacurate or invasive discussions on that post. If there was, please highlight it. It is an abuse of power on the poster/moderators part to kill, ban, or close a post when none of the rules above, which mbworld.org create, were broken.

Look, we've all been called worse than 'idiot' in our lives, but unless we want this to morph into a Usenet group, the line has to be drawn.
And if someone calls you an idiot, than report the post and it will be dealt with just the same. Maybe worse things are said in these threads, but with thousands of active topics here and there, a few mods can't catch everything. This is why 'report-a-post' is useful.
