Living in Seattle I get into a race about once a year, unless you count all those hybrid races. I was on my way home from a long traffic filled trip from Portland when I reached downtown Seattle & decided to take the Express lanes for the last 5 miles of my trip. I had just cruised past a few cars when I saw headlights coming up behind me. The road was clear & I was hoping he'd line up next to me, but he nailed it & ran past me. The guy was in a B5 S4, lowered, with black wheels. He was able to pull ahead to my front fender before I began to pull him back. I easily passed him up and gapped him by a car length. The Express lanes are stacked under the regular expressway, and I was getting that video game feel with the columns & roof flying by, pretty cool. I had to slow for traffic & the S4 got off as young guy in an Evo pulls right next to me. He was behind me during the run with the S4. The Evo punches it and I follow, easily passing him before I made my exit & when the Evo caught back up & waved. Not a great race but it was a great way to end a long frustrating drive.
