2 kills.......i think...
also, i had a run in with a newer wrx sti on the expressway that resulted in a solid pull away from 75+ -- he pulled up on me, stayed side by side, bucked forward a few times and we staged and rolled on to about 125. i had about 4-5 cars on him.
my question is were these 2 drivers that expirienced or is the 645 (mine is a 6spd) really that close in accelleration. has anyone here had any expirience head to head with a '6?? thnx for the input
That being said, I don't they fudged the 645 figures. The V8 has much more torque and low down power than the I6 and if you were shifting both well and at redline and the other guy was not then it is no surprise you won.
They are much closer performance wise than people seem to realize.
Thought I read somewhere a car magazine dyno'd the new 335 and found BMW had understated its output ... i.e. it's more than 300hp/300tq
BTW, "i made a lambo vid" is such a quality thread!!

ICEAMG-I love the E46 M3 to a rather obsessive extent yet concede it is not a dragster by any means. An automatic 645 would kill most of the M3's around here as people can't drive them, they must just like the pretty colors on the badge.
M3>645....but it's a fairly small margin.
The Bimmer forum guys would argue in an empty room. That's why we, as BM drivers, have to put up the reputation the propellar badge gives us. It's worth it though, as the cars are a true pleasure.

What i did to a 645 a while back beggs to differ. Great car though.
