nobody won... and I'm a bit disappointed with the S/C peformace. There is very little mod support on the new 63 engine so..definately stock.
To see a M3 w/ $15K in mods keep up with a new CLS63 in not very impressive.
I'm guessing $15k, since you need to upgrade other components and labor.
I had a friend of mine do it to his E46 and he decided on the alcohol injection too. That guy threw more money on his E46 than I have on both of my existing properties.
Stage 2 vs stock E55 would have the same outcome.

It sucks to know that you can dump that much into a sporty car and still cant kill a stock family sedan...What is the world coming to lol.....Believe me I know the S/C M3's pain....Id have to spend alot to beat a stock Amg....Im currently rethinking my purchase though I have bonded with my little ricemobile....

As for the M3 pulling on that AMG? Maybe...But if I spend money on a supercharger and I barely can pull a stock family car Id deffinately be a bit concerned
Trust me if I keep and modify my current car I will not be happy if Im running neck and neck with a stock family car of any make...Modded AMG's are another story

I know where you are coming from...But Im of the school where sportscar are supposed to be faster than family cars lol....Im having my thinking readjusted very harshly, with extreme predjudice everytime I run into an AMG/SRT8/540 etc

you will open the doors for civic, SRT4, cobra, GTO and even Supras to really start talking about how cheap they can mod and beat a stock AMG or S/C M3
E46 S/C is not a cheap project and very time consuming... so I'm not impressed.
As far as pulling the AMG.. if by 130 the pull has not happended.. then it obviously both cars are running neck and neck and it would take a more power for the M3 to make the complete pass.

I have not run a TT 350Z.....i would love to, do you know of any in the area? I see one in my neighborhood.....he has the APS kit....but never got the chance to run him. I ran a Stillen S/C one.....but that was only about 400 chp. My buddy Josh has ran an APS TT G35.....here is that video. We have similar setups in our S4. LMK if you know of a TT 350Z that would like to run.

I have a friend who thinks the same way you do. He has a honda accord v6 coupe with purple underbody lights
We were at the beach one time with a big group, driving down the road (me hiding in the back so i'm not seen in a car with purple neons) when lo and behold a Mitubishi Evo VIII pulls up next to us at a light. I make a comment about how that car is quick and he says "naugh man thats a four door, i can take him" He revs, the Evo guy looks confused, light turns green, Evo takes off so fast i think my friend accidentally put it in reverse. THEN he starts this "oh man, if i was only in my friends 350Z i could have taken him. Those cars are the fastest things on the road"

What school would that be? I bet it has its fair share of short buses. There's no way you can call an AMG sedan a "family car." It just isnt, just because your car has two doors and no back seat doesnt mean anything. There's no shame in losing to a four door if that four door has 500+hp and huge amounts of torque on tap.

not in the sense of the word that most people mean. "family sedan" implies a minivan type complex, something that is not a driver's car and designed with practicality foremost in mind. It is built for carrying children and pets. None of these are bad things, but none of these are AMG things.

He lost one time on a high speed run on the freeway against an SL65 earlier this year but it was close and I know cos I was in the passenger seat. It must have been delimited as all I'll say is 180 for us and I'm not talking about degrees.
Best thing is it looks totally stock but he upgraded to Audi 5-arm 19s and blacked out all the chrome on the bodywork and exhausts except for the mirrors

He's practically unbeatable from stoplight to stoplight and anywhere if it's wet. He lost one time on a high speed run on the freeway against an SL65 earlier this year but it was close and I know cos I was in the passenger seat. Best thing is it looks totally stock but he upgraded to Audi 5-arm 19s and blacked out all the chrome on the bodywork and exhausts except for the mirrors
