CL600 latest contests...
1. CL65: 2 roll ons from 80-130 dead even every time
2. E63: i actually did a u turn to mess with him, turned out to be a friend, 2 runs from a dead stop at the top of second gear im 3 car lengths ahead

haha, I do actually. I drove it yesterday and I was amazed again by the AMG naturally aspirated off-throttle response

What happened after 130 with the 65?? I ask because 80 to 130 in my 65 (chipped) is not a long time at all, in fact the speedo nearly mirrors the tach.

we never got past 130 and from the outcome of the race I can only assume it was not chipped. What numbers are you putting down on the dyno with your (chipped) 65

I still have not got a dyno on it believe it or not!! Evo cant get a tach signal or something to that nature but Vadim from Evosport past is going to get it done for me soon I hope. As fast as my 55 is ... the 65 is that much faster.

You can get HP but you wont get your TQ, hence I have to TQ reading yet. Im curious to see what your numbers are, too bad your 91 octane limited at the pump, these biturbos react well to increased octane. Not sure if you take your cars to the track but have you run it yet, i ran mine once and we have a few track days coming up soon. Most 65 data we have is on s65's and sl65's not too many cl65's have been down the strip...so far the highest trap from a 65 that i have seen is 129mph and 125mph for a 600

Yeah I hear you on the 91 octane, I used to live up North in Cali and had a 100 octane station that I would use on my 996TT and the difference was big IMO. No tracking of the car just freeway runs thus far. Vadim supposedly is able to extrapolate tq from the dyno readings at EVO so hopefully I can get that done soon. Ill post them in the 65 section once it happens.

I love these bi turbos but besides sucking gas I always have that uneasy feeling that something is going to happen to them. Just being paranoid? Maybe but its the bane of my Mercedes exsistence.
