I don't have the volume on so I can't hear how the car sounds....but from the way that C55 pulled either he had a Kleeman Supercharger or he's on the bottle. Or maybe the M5 wasn't trying? Can you hear the M5 downshift and rev?

Naaaah. I think the C55 is 100% stock. New E90 M5 is no comparison to the monster C55!! hahahaha

I have seen the video, before this posting.
I believe the M5 E60 was on P400 mode or the tranmission shifting was set at the slowest or the driver did not how to shift and was hitting the redline.

Ok, after watching the video, i've come to the conclusion that the M5 was in p400 mode, was not in the right gear, was way off it's power band & it was not a rolling start. It's obvious though that after 160 mph he would have walked that C55.

It's not even a C-Class. Note the wood trim on the door. It's an E-Class.
The uploader's name is ULTIMATEBENZAMG and just about all of the video titles say m5board.com and m6board.com. Can anyone verify these were originally from m5/m6board.com?

even if the M5 was in P400 mode the C55 would have a hard time making any ground on it,
+1 on it being an E platform not a C, it makes more sense that an E 55 would put ground on an M5 not being driven to potential. There's a video of my E39 M5 vs an E60 M5 on youtube somewhere and also on bimmerforums. I am pretty sure that vid is not from M5board/M6board, as I post there regularly, and normally their official videos are from well known board members or in sweden at the koenigsegg race track
edit: looked at the users other videos, it does look like a C55 and he barely beats an STI, I think the M5 driver is at fault for not driving to cars capablities and the C55 driver is guilty for misrepresenting the race and using the M5board name. Looks like the M5 messed up and then stopped, would make more sense if we could hear from the owner

Yeah,I had a C55.I've been in CylinderHeads car.There is no way a C55 is keeping up with a properly driven M5.If the car is been modded thats a different story,but that C55 is needing at least 100+ more hp than stock to walk like that

It's obvious the C55 in the video is not stock with at least a supercharger or the poster mislabeled the title for a modified E55\63 to stir things up. Either way, it was a good kill. It looks like the M5 was trying hard hence the first jump he got on the C55\E55. Now whether the M5 was in its P400 mode or not.... who knows... many other variables are left unknown in that video. I definitely wouldn't use this video to reference the true M5 output due to the lack of info on that video though.
With that being said!! I wouldn't mind putting my car to the test against urs just for the kicks of it, I never lost a race yet to any car on the streets so it would be nice to have 1 loss on my record for a change. I will be visiting NY\NJ in 2 weeks for the weekend!!
