how fast are the ml500?

Hey...
Just checked out the specs of an ML500, and to my surprise its FAST!! The performance data I got was from Car & Driver and they ran it 0-60 in around 6.8 seconds and 1/4 mile in 15.3. It runs to 60 about .7 seconds faster and the quarter mile about .2!!

But in a comparision between the X5 4.6is and ML55 that was featured on SpeedVision months ago they claimed to have achieved a 6.4 0-60 time with the ML55.

Anyone surprised about the lack of the huge HP gain when going from an ML430 to an ML500... thats a lot of displacement for less than 20 horsepower. I know the 02ML500 is 288, the 430 is like right behind it. There has got to be some simple stuff to get the power it really has.
