Evening meal. Dinan M3, with tricked out Diesel truck for dessert!
They both came looking for me. My favorite.
M3 rolls up next to me enough for me to see the Dinan tags all over it. He is actually the one prodding me to go for it and I was happy to make his day.
From a roll around 60, just walked him like a dog right up to 130mph and he drops back. I knew the flyby was coming and I was ready for it. I wait to see the headlights start coming and I timed it just right. Punch it and just as he gets to the rear bumper, the momentum shifts and I walk him again right up to 135. He exits shortly after with tail between his legs.
Turn around to come home and hear this strange noise coming up behind me.
Look to my right and it's a Duramax Diesel truck, lifted high with all kinds of diesel racing stickers on it. I am sure with that much torque he gets kills all day long......ehhh, not this time. Both times he tries for the flyby and I am able to reverse the flyby and pull away. The first time was funny. That truck was faster than the M3 Dinan, but the result was the same.
Final time we get to a redlight and he is just p-issed off!! Truck is winding and revving , but he is caught behind another car. My lane is open and waiting for him. He cuts around the car in front of him and hammers it and I do the same. Mushroom cloud of smoke pouring out of it, yet I put on the leash and walked him clean and crisp until he shut her down around 80 or so.
Just can't say enough about this new head and cam setup VRP sold me. I am in love with my car all over again.
***disclaimer. This story is completely made up for the enjoyment of MBWorld readers. Street racing is illegal and childish.

Awesome job squashing the flyby.
Driving your car must be like riding a wild horse that barely lets you strap a saddle on....
