CLK 270 CDi
Out wid 'a friend' on a very long stretch of Duel Carridgeway some time ago. (in southern England, may have hada '34' in the name??!!)
he pushed, but got 149 mph outa a '03 CLK 270 Cdi.
I was very suprised considering its stock, but it was on the redline breifly.
Crused the rest of the way at a 'steady' 135!
It coped fine.
Tee hee!!
My m8 in the back was asleep and was 'suprised' when he awoke and glanced at the speedo as we blasted past night trucks in the slow lane!!
Ah the joys of diesel torque!!
Any1 else got stories of ur diesels' kikin' ***!?
(-um ye but shh cos 'it never happened'!!! AHEM!!!)
On the same road, managed 160 mph (as speedo reads) from an '03 E320 CDI. stock, but it was on a downhill stretch.
