My hats off to him too... He seemed to drive the car pretty well from what I saw.
An amazing feat though? I don't know about that one. LOL. The C6 Z06 is a $75,000, 500HP supercar, so I'd certainly hope it could beat a 3500+ pound S4 with bolt ons, especially upstairs. From a standing start on the street I think it could be a different story though.
Just a FYI, this S4 is far from heavily modded. It has OEM turbos and intercoolers from the Audi RS4. Bone stock motor with 141K on the odo. I have about $8000 into the car including the cost of the car itself.

Uhh, so you're saying with no front bumper and carbon fiber everywhere, it weighs 3500 pounds+? I think a guy who just learned stick on a Z06 deserves some applause for beating someone who has been racing for as long as you have. Granted the Z06 has amazing power, but putting that power to the ground is incredibly difficult, especially for the driver where each shift edges the car to go sideways. Give credit where credit is due.

Don't pay it no mind bro,marc downplays everything.Bobby did an excellent job considering he never drove a manual car before;a Z06 is a beast&it takes some skill not to put it sideways into the guardrail

Like I said, if I do a motor swap with a Skyline, I can't claim it was an OEM part for my car and then tell everyone mine is stock cause the motor is stock when it comes in a Skyline lol.

Haha yeah I know what he means when he says "stock" but just the way he acts like his car is actually stock because the parts he is using are all taken from other audis. If you show me an S4 that came stock from the factories with K04's from an RS6, then you can call it OEM. Like if he takes stock parts from other cars and make it weigh 5 pounds he can call it factory.

No sorry, its just not like that, especially since the turbos are Audi oem, off a B5 chassis (same as S4) RS4, off a 2.7t (same as an S4 except watered down). They're a more reliable replacement for the stock turbos.

It's pretty funny how you called my S4 "heavily modded" when in reality it has nothing more than 3-4 bolt ons. Bone stock motor, stock heads, stock cams, stock exhaust manifolds, stock displacement, stock compression ratio, stock engine management, etc.
If my S4 is "heavily modded" then what do you call an S4 with a 3.0L, GT28RS turbos, nitrous, etc?

I've always said that if I wanted to run the streets I'd buy a Mustang and rip everything apart and still have money to burn. Obviously I value style, comfort, drivability, prestige, and performance...not just speed.

I don't see why he needs to be banned. We had a clean raced, he was a complete gentleman and even provided nice videos and hosted them on his site for us. Plus if there weren't arguments, these forums would be as boring as the rest of the car message boards.

That's a motor swap. Totally different. Plus, that swapped in motor isn't even stock. Don't you have aftermarket cams and some other ***** in there?
My S4 is running the same bone stock motor that it came with from the factory. Stock compression ratio, stock displacement, stock number of power adders, no nitrous, etc. It's a bone stock motor with 3-4 bolt ons and that's it. That's why this car continually impresses me.

Pretty sick that I can be right next to a 125-130 trap car, even to speeds equal to or just slightly faster than the trap speed. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my 3500+ pound 4 door all wheel drive S4 with 3-4 bolts would hang with a C6 Z06 like that all the way on up to 135-140. Can you imagine a real race... standing 1/4 mile?

He didn't pass me until 135-140. That's incredible that I was able to hang for as long as I did considering the Z06 traps as high as 130 bone stock. I mean eventually the Z06 will pass me no matter what. Don't they go like 200 MPH? Gotta get something for your 80 grand.

Im just breakin yer chops man,I could only imagine having 8 cars at my disposal&it's impressive that you know the Audi's inside&out and can swap around parts like that.I'd like to see that stable one day
