SLK32 vs S600
not much of a kill but a quick story... Going through some light traffic in mexico round 6p black previous body s600 comes up on me quick, traffic clears and I switch to the inside lane and hit it, he follows right on me and I slowly pull maybe a car length before slowing down for traffic up ahead, I take my exit as I look over and see the V12 badging, he smiles and keeps talking on his cell phone..

Turbo badging is the surest sign the car was non-turbod. I saw a pre kompressor S55 (twin pipes) the other day with wonky kompressor badging on the flanks.

Badging can be deceptive. I saw an SL500 with the SL500 badge on back and V12 BiTurbo emblems on the sides. Definitely a car with a split personality.......

I'm thinking of adding a zero to my SL65 emblem to make the car that much faster - what do you think? Or should I add a second SL65 emblem under the original emblem to make the car double fast?

Saw S65 AMG at the carwash year or so ago. He's was giving me the "Wish you were me?" look...you know, all smug.
Then his car came by with V12 Kompressor on the side. I started laughing in front of him and he got all embarrassed and walked outside.

You are kidding me!!! What a tool!!!
I cringe when I see all those badges on ebay... because I am thinking...where are these "kompressor" and "Biturbo" badges ending up??? What is funny..is that the only people impressed with badges ...are the ones who know the difference...it kind of defeats the purpose...

I'm not sure there's enough to room for four; maybe if I take the 5 off the last emblem. Do you think that three SL65's and one SL6 would still work? Or I could take the SL off the SL550 badge and stick the 550 on the end of the SL65 emblem - yeah that would work SL65550 - nobody would mess with me then.

ItalionStallion - the emblem in your signature photo looks good. Can I borrow it to put on my SL? The way I figure it your badge in combination with mine gives me about 1200 HP..... what do you say.. deal?

lol i got a funny one too lol. but couldnt take a picture.
a friend of mine whos doing my pizza shop sign got the new s550 with the sport package.
On the left side trunk lid it he put " S550 with AMG right next to it. and the 4matic on the right side.
I told his workers its not a AMG... but he made them belive its a SPECIAL AMG ordered from Germany lol.

Maybe I am a complete @-hole...but I would never trust someone who lies like that. If someone lies about little things for the sake of appearances...what else is he lying about?
