Looking for a new toy.
Audi S5?
Anyone run one of these? Might get a chance run one tomorrow night, anything for me to worry about? It's new and stock as far as I know. My SLK55 has run very consistent 12.7-9's at right around 110 traps last couple times out to the strip.

They are beautiful cars but there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Stock I don't think they can ever break 13' mark.

Audi is notorious for slushbox tranny's and heavy engines. MBZ AMG is still the originator.

On dry pavement, running a 12.7 at 110, you have nothing to worry about.

Latest tests report low to mid 13's. Fantastic car overall, just not that quick in a straight line compared to some of the offerings of other manufacturers.

They're pretty slow, I had a pull with one before my car was totalled, up to 65 or so, was not getting away from me at all, after that it turned into a slow walk.

Same result with a kid that owns a B6 S4 that goes to my school, even to about 65-70 and then he'd start to walk me. You really have nothing to worry about, you'd pull on him good.

Hmmm, thats rather impressive. I can't wait to take my s4 to the track and see what it'll putdown

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll run anyone for fun - win, lose, or draw, but it's nice to know ballpark what to expect before hand, and since these cars are kinda rare I wasn't able to find much online about real world results.

I'll post up the outcome if he shows.

Guy didn't show. Ah well, had some good runs with friends in the local f-body club, along with a few Stangs, so it was a good night anyway.
