What you said about the tires is true. This is why the new Brabus E V12 is governed at 340 Km/h and the old one was governed at 330 km/h, because even the special tires made for it could only andle the weight of the car safely up to those speeds.

i was wondering why my 2.4 w210 has W rated tyres which are rated at 168mph.
