CL65 AMG VS Porche Boxer
 

Was taking a ride in a friends CL65 AMG (He's loaded, By the way!). Me and him were in the car, some guy in a boxer came up to me and revved his engine. I gave him the signal to race him, we were at the red light turned green I nailed He nailed. I got past him, blew him away. I beat him down route one, he was disgusted when I beat him. It was the greatest adrenaline rush I've had this month. By the way, the car is NOT limited anymore, because I took the limitor off.

nice. a CL65 AMG vs a Boxter is like me racing a Lexus LS430. a kill is a kill, though yours was probably more of a mutilation

what's impressive about beating a boxter... since you are racing boxters, why not race toyota tundras, honda civics or chrysler mini vans... CL65 could beat a boxter and practically anything on the road with out even trying. Glad for your win but this wasn't a race ... anything less than a m6, z06, 911 turbo is not a race but you beating up on some poor guy who should have know better than to challenge you.

this is the point. he didn't say he initiated the encounter, but when challenged (regardless of by what car) what are you supposed to do? this is just maintaining pecking order on the street. how was the other guy supposed to learn that he shouldn't have challenged unless he received proper feedback (read 'beatdown')? I agree it's not really glorious, but it is an appropriate response.

I disagree. The Boxster driver may have been under the false impression that just because his car has a Porsche emblem on it ...that it was the higher performing car (in a straight line). Let's not forget that it was the P-car driver who rev'ed their engine. As I like to say...'you mess with a bull....you get the horns....'. :naughty:
