e55 vs m5 (393hp)
I was driving home late last night and as I came to a red light a older body 5 series stops right next to me. I usually pay no mind but I noticed it had the sport kit and everything but there was 2 guys in there and they didn't even glance over to me.
Well light turns green he launches hard and I wasn't ready for it but I immediately got on the throttle and he got out in front 2-3 cars right off the bat and I had no room to reel him in.
Round 2 this time I shifted manually to 1st raised my suspension and I was waiting for the green. This time we took off and on I got him almost 2 car lengths on a short stretch of road.
Round 3 was a bigger stretch of road in front of us with nothing but a deserted street. I wanted to give him a minor head start and light turns green and before u know it he was about 3-4 car lengths behind.
It was fun. We talked at the last light and how ironic it was to see the driver of that m5 is a guy I raced on that same stretch of road a few yrs ago when he had a gto 5.7 and I had my g35 coupe lol. He complimented me on my car and said my car is ridiculous and I complimented him as well. Nice safe action.
