E55 vs. S65(W221)

If I were to write about all my races, this forum would be full! This one though, I just had to talk about.

So yesterday afternoon, my fiance and I were leaving the galleria. Headed west on Hidalgo, we pull next to a new S65, silver, with some middle age driver. I give a little gas to get his attention and it worked. We pull up next to each other on Hidalgo and Chimney Rock at the red light. I knew he was willing to race. The light turned green and we proceeded forward, as soon as we made the turn we both floored it. My car chirped as it took off, and i heard his exhaust howling next to me. To my surprise I was slowly pulling away from him.

As we got the to the next stop sign, I pulled down my passenger window to say hi, but he wouldn't even look at me. We launched from the stop sign, my car burning out, his car flying, yet I was still ahead, and I was still pulling away. My fiance was excited and laughed at the fact that the driver wouldn't pull down his window at the next light to talk.

I told one of my friends about my victory and he laughed, his exact words were, "The dude is probably going to take his car to the dealership to see what's wrong with it!" HAHA!

Wow, his ic pump must be bad, lol. Good run. I was going to replace my E55 with the S65 in a couple years, I guess I'll have to keep my E55 forever now.

Nice one HadiLaw....you had me worried for a minute, I thought maybe it was me in the 65, but I woulda at least stopped to talk to you......LOL. Is your car stock? A stock E55 is no match for a stock 65.....or at least it shouldn't be. Throw in a bad i/c pump and "comfort mode" and it would be a different story. Either way, good story and I've always loved the E55's........

*edit*....nevermind, I just saw your mods in your sig.....nice!!

Just curious, what's your best 1/4 time. I read a post about a claimed 480rwhp E55 that only ran a 12.5@112 in las vegas at that elevation. A stock e55 should be the same or better, and 480rwhp should be 11xx @120+. thanks.
