Killed by a Viper
At the start, I knew that I was biting off more than I could chew with this guy... it was a bright red first generation Viper with yellow rims, very clean. It was driven by an older white guy.
We never got a clean lineup at a light, but both times that we "went" we did it from a roll at around 20 MPH.
That said, I'm surprised I did as well as I did. He pulled half a length on me to about 60-65 mph, both times that we went. It's debatable as to whether or not he was really going for it, but, it was very very loud... open headers, maybe...
Never thought I'd do that well versus a Viper. Now I know!

MBWorld Fanatic!
I tried going against a red 1st gen as well and he turned at the stop light instead. However, after reading some specs, I think I could manage a good run against an aging stock 1st gen!
I'm confident i'm in high 12's after my header/ecu install...so maybe I could even beat a 1st gen in the 1/4! That would be a sight to see
