Attention from Gallardo and CFS...
I was headed home to Palm Beach around 10pm from Miami in my ten year old S430. Doing 90+ coming up to what seems to be a pristine Flying Spur to my right (i'm in the HOV lane). We are about even then FS gives it a little throttle. I see his hood rise in my perifery so I kickdown to get ahead but he gives it a little more gas and holds me off one car length easily. I know he's not WOT. Triple digits and oncoming traffic ahead I ease off then follow suit behind him. He moves over a few lanes to exit but never gets on it. Why would he burn so much gas to show an old benzo who's boss? I am debadged and lowered maybe he thought I would've put uo a better fight. Wish I had a 600 w/ a VRP825 kit.
A few weeks later coming back from Miami late night cruising 90+ coming up to a Gallardo. He's in the lane beside the HOV lane, as soon as we're even I hear 10 cylinders downshifting/barking from 6th to 4th gear, he floors it, steady blue flames coming out his pipes... he's out!! I'm on the limiter for about ten seconds or so then ease off never to see him again! I think he has aftermarket exhaust it was raucous!
Moral of the story is, no matter what you drive, albeit a Lambo or a Bentley (both volkswagens) you see a 220 s-class in your rearview, you'd do anything to prove that you may be faster. You know who the OG is. Man is wish I had a VRP825 kitted S600 biturbo...

do you know vw put most of their energy and resources went into r&d of the veyron which ultimately led to the demise of the older generation golfs and jettas' build quality which suffered due to a selfish endeavor of producing the world's fastest production vehicle.

You signature is the equivalent of shouting. Nice car but the wheels are a little small by todays standards.
Peasant? Excellent!
When I was shopping for my CS, I looked at several Gallardos and when they are up on a lift and you take a look...... all the stuff that would normally break on Lambos now have nice Audi/VW logos on them. I think that is a good thing. Putting the key in the ignition and knowing it will start and run is a great thing!
Case in point: you drive a 2000 S430, which according to Edmunds.com has a whopping resale value of $7500, and you come in here acting like Mr. Moneybags, and have the gall to call someone driving a much newer car a "peasant"?!?
Well, here's a laugh for you: the Charger SRT8 has been produced since 2006. So, even if deuuuce drives the oldest one, the '06 model, well, guess what Mr. Wannabe Trump? His car, at a minimum, retails out at damn near triple what yours does, just shy of $19,000, and if it's newer it gets even worse for you:
http://www.edmunds.com/used/2006/dodge/charger/100640711/prices.html $19,000
http://www.edmunds.com/used/2007/dodge/charger/100793088/prices.html $22,500
http://www.edmunds.com/used/2008/dodge/charger/100894274/prices.html $25,000
So let's see: 100%(7500/19000) = 39%. So what does that make you, 39% of a peasant?
I guess so, given that you seem to think that 275 horsepower makes owners of cars producing over 500 think you're a challenge, and that people here are wowed by a gigantic sig pic of an 11 year old S430.
I mean, don't get me wrong, the S Class is a great car, but puh-leeze, making silly statement like "peasant" only reinforces the impression your silly sig creates. Forget about nouveau riche, this is wannabe nouveau riche territory here.

. My approval rating has gone down lower than obama's at this point regarding my signature. Couldn't get it smaller, so found this from roger ver and decided to plug it in. This is not my car, I repeat, this is not my car! thanks
