Kill a 370z
A week ago, when I was returning to home, a 370z was behind me and tried to pass me on the left lane of the highway. He probably thought: Yeah, another ol' guy Mercedes. He got the surprise of his life when I floored it and left him on the dust.
As Sun Tzu stated:If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain to be in peril... He got it on that night
If you were in the left lane, maybe you should have moved over.
If you weren't in the left lane, maybe he just was going faster than you and wasn't trying to race at all?

The rest of us will be safer and you will probably have a lot more fun.
(BTW, most NASA regions have intro. type race track sessions for $50)
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Anyway, no need wishing a fellow forum member be arrested. Very seldom is a friendly speed comparison on a public road much more likely to actually cause an accident than usual. If the drivers were attentive, and not willing to take risks, there's not much that would cause a crash that wouldn't have happened if they weren't racing. Straigh line speed on a highway is not usually what causes accidents during a race. It's speeding on surface streets, hard or blind cornering, running redlights, road conditions, weaving through traffic or combinations of the above that get most people in trouble and put innocent people at risk. I don't condone any of that crap.
"It's always fun to educate the uninformed".
Or something like that.
Even if it could, which it wouldn't (and didn't), it still looks like a 4 year old designed it. That car looks like a factory megaricemobile mixed with some type of shark. It just LOOOKS immature.

Horsepower 332 @ 7000 RPM Torque (lb-ft) 270 @ 5200 RPM
C55 AMG
Horsepower 362 @ 5750 RPM Torque (lb-ft) 376 @ 4000 RPM
C55 has 106 more torque ! not to mention 30 more hp.
100 torque is a big different from 0-80 mph so C55 definitely can smoke a 370Z.
Won't be so much as a "smoke" victory, but the c55 will still take the lead all the way to the finish line in a drag.
