Fast Cars!
Angry Worst kill ever today!

I was driving home today (in my c230) and i see a black IS300 at the light with a big exhaust, of course i say to my self ha, ricer. I wanna race just to show him hes slow. I have beat a couple IS300s pretty nice since i got my pulley. Well anyway i was not right next to the guy when the light turned green but as the road started clearing up i was able to get next to him. As i am right next to him i keep driving the same speed as him so he would get the point. He looks over and opens his window so i open mine, he says "You sure u know what your doing?" At that point i was like ??? so i am like yeah i guess he says "fine i warned u" He looks over to me and kinda shakes his head to go..... so we both floor it and OMG!!!!!! He started pulling like crazy on me, i had to look down at my spedo to make sure my speeds were actually going up.:p By a couple seconds he was seriously like 10 or 14 cars away from me and i could bairly see him. lol. I see him braking so i finally get next to him seconds later as i catch up. I open my window and said HOLY **** THAT WAS SICK. He started laughing and said "I dident think u had a chance i am runnng high 11's with 640hp to my wheels". I finally stopped at a red light and asked what he has and he was telling me about the turbo and how he just go nos recenlty and used it when he raced me. He also said the high 11's were done with nos. The light turns green and i had enough so i said nice car and just drive off regular. I got a little bit infront of him and i looked in my rearview mirrior and i saw a giant intercooler on the front. If i saw that at first i probally would not have raced. Besides the car being really really fast the cool part was it looks completly stock except for the intercooler and exhaust.

Since a lot of you guys have c230 compressors what is the max Hp the engine can handle? And how fast can you make the car go with that engine? I know off topic but I was just curious.

I would say it can handle at least 300hp easy.

When u say how fast can u make it go do u mean? HP? toqure? 0-60 or 1/4 mile times?

I really dont know. lol.

Someone with just a pulley on a C230 ran a 14.9 in a automatic and i think the 0-60 times would be in the 6s. Of course if u do alot of things besides the pulley like from renntech with the ECU reprogram, larger intercooler, cat back exhaust etc. it can easily run low 14s. The 6 speed manual will be even quciker. Renntech also has a conversion to made it a 2.5 litire instead of a 2.3. Of course all this would be very expensive. Oh yeah u can have it ported and polished to.

Or if thats still not enough brabus has a V8 engine swap, only thats costs $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

The guy you raced had my "dream car setup". If I were to mod a car like that, I would do it EXACTLY the same way he did. I'm a big fan of the "sleeper"!

Would such a charged-up IS300 hold up over time? Chassis, drive train, etc? Just curious.

Thats a good question, only i dont know the answer. My guess would be yes it would last for quite some time if u wanna take the Supra for an example. Besides the engine being the same its made by toyota and with the IS being a newer car i am sure the quality has improved over time. Since the Supra has lasted this long with some being modded to hell, i suppose it should be ok as long as u dont do something stupid and not use the nos to much.

How does it have the same engine as the Supra?

You mean the N/A supra? I understand that the internals on that where pretty weak compared to the TT supra.

well..considering how quickly and how much of it is used at once, and the price of it..i would just rather use the 650HP to smoke him

I want a sleeper car too those are the best. My cousin had a 91 Honda civic the car looked like it should have been in the junk yard instead of the streets but it had some major mods on it, was as fast as a turbo supra. That car was fun to drive. The people that raced him were usually crying at the end couldn’t believe how fast the car was.

One of my friends has a 95' civic hatch and damn that thing is fast. Its not riced out like alot of them but besides it being lowered with exhaust it looks almost stock. Thats besides the big intercooler on the front. He has a T3 turbo and damn that thing kicked the **** out of a lighting SVT with a supercharger pulley the other day. the guy in the lighting could not believe it. My friends civic just pulled right away from him. the whole car with the turbo was like 10 grand. Oh yeah and the BOV sounds awsome.
