Playing with a M3
A couple Saturdays back i was heading home. A black very nice looking fairly new BMW M3 passes me on the right side and a silver SLK350 AMG passes me on the left. I move over and am trailing the SLK. At this point we are all driving the speed limit.
We all hit a red light and everything seems to be normal until i notice the M3 now has it's windows down and both the driver and passenger are looking at the SLK...the driver of the M3 is reving the motor and it looks like he is wanting to race the SLK. The light turns green and the BMW screams away from the light. The SLK was game for about 2 seconds then let off.
I kinda felt that the M3 needed to pick on someone there own size...that would be me. Lucky for me with both catch the next red light. Same thing is happening at this light as the last light except now i am in the car next to them that's getting looked at. The driver is free reving the car.
The light turns green and it's on...with both punch it and it was close through the intersection. By the time we make it through the intersection i am a little ahead of them, soon it's one car link, then two, then three...i am doing about 130 and decide to shut it down. Now i am waiting for them to catch up...i role the window down when they get next to me. The passenger yells out, "We weren't expecting that!" They give the thumbs up and that was it.
Not a fan of racing on the street but everyone once in a while...things happen
