E55 Surprise
One of my favorite things to do with my E55 is to ambush the unknowing young hot rodders around town that have no idea what an E55 is. After all, it looks like moms grocery getter so it's almost invisable in a sea of E class Benzes.
Early morning and I'm heading to the gym down a six lane road but there's little traffic at 7AM. In my mirror I can see and hear, (I have the windows down), a kid in a new GT Mustang slaloming through traffic and banging gears like a mad man. As luck would have it, we end up side by side at the next light and theres nobody on the road ahead. The kid also has his windows down, stereo blasting while he blips the throttle waiting for the light and doesn't even glance over at me. I know he's going to go hard from the light so I decide to have a little fun and when the light turns, sure enough he's on it hard so I just match him and stay door to door. This surprises him a little and he looks over and we make eye contact and I give him a nice big happy smile which goads him into really going for it to show me what's up. Just what I was waiting for. As soon as he went for it I did too and put two cars on him before he knew what happened. Unfortunately, I turned off to my gym before I had a chance to get his reaction at the next light but it had to be priceless. He just got badly spanked by a grey haired senior citizen driving a 4-door sedan. Made my whole week.
