E55 Kill Stories
Hey guys so I got 3 kill stories for you 2 from last Saturday and one from today.
Just so everyone knows my car is 2006 e55 83mm pulley, tune and Johnson ic pump. Into the stories...
1st one- I was leaving an AMG meet on the freeway and a baby blue 2011 Ferrari California convertible is next to me, old guy driving, young good looking women in the passenger, in my car it's me my brother and my dad... So he's looking gives a smirk like I'm nothing and takes off, little does he know who he's playing with so as soon as I hear his car take off I put my foot down and walk him by 5 cars.
2nd- same day as soon as I get off the freeway a 2015 Dodge Challenger srt8 pulls up at the light next to me, this time it's a younger dude probably 25... Anyway when the light goes he gets a jump, I real him in and walk him up until the next light.
3rd one today- same set up me my dad and brother, we are at a light and a brand new 535i rolls up next to me... 3 young guys blasting music talking junk to me looking and such so I say game he edges forward before the lit turns green and takes off I give him a little head start and he knows it... So I floor it and bang walk him by 10 cars
These are the only 3 races I've ever been in while owning it but man did it feel good
can't wait till me headers,heat exchanger and belt wrap kit come in

I can tell you from my experience, a number of years ago we had some 55ks with mods similar to ours go lean on #8 cylinder and go boom. Almost all of them were making multiple runs well toward or past the top of third and in cool weather when density altitude was low. I generally use 130 mph or 140 mph as max from a hard pull. Sounds like you need some 550 injectors and another tune from Jake or Jerry at EC to be next on your mod list. Be safe bro.

I hate to give you advice as the novice I am, but I can tell you my SL has nearly 100k on the odo and I have been making pulls to 100+ for years without trouble. the 130 -140 pulls are very rare for me. I like to hit the go peddle on a freeway on ramp and as you know by the time we hit the end of a typical on ramp we are at 100 or 110. At that point I usually let the beast slow back to freeway speeds.
