At last!! This morning cruising around town I saw a car approaching me quite fast - I am doing about 60kph. Anyway as it is still early I can't make out the headlights, I can see they are xenon though. As it comes nearer I see it is a BM, but I think to myself yeah, another 330 owner that doesn't know what a C32 is. I live in a small town - I reckon there are only 'bout 10 M3's or so. Next moment this car flew past me - and I hear this loud 6 cyl scream. Wait a second, it's an M3!!! So I manually shift down to 2nd and floor it. We go up to 90kph and there is traffic, so we back off. Up to that speed we were equal. Up the road there is a slip-way where I have to turn left. Voila, he turns left also. Now I am ready. I keep the car in 2nd. At 50kph we both floored it Up to 100 and we are equal. The car shifts to 3rd - and I am catching him! At 140 I have to shut not to run him over. I let him go 1 cl. I floor again - same thing - I slowly reel him in. At 180 we brake for traffic again. We accalerate from 130 again. Up ahead is a right turn that I have taken before at +- 170. We are doing 160 and he brakes!! I can not believe it - I almost crash into him. After the turn he turns right into a resort and I keep going. As I went past he gave me the thumbs-up, what a nice guy. OK so they were 2 people in the car, but I think I would have killed him anyway with only him in the car. At least now I know my car is quicker than this M3. All the mags here have tested the M3 quicker. But what an adrenalin rush that was!!! AMG rules!

Sounds like lots of fun! I don't see any new M3's around here! The only M3 owner I knew of took a ride in the Viper and ended up buying an 01 GTS and getting rid of the M3.
