Exclamation How to get the 208 CLK55 out of the hole?

I'd like to know if changing the rear tires from the stock 245/40/17 to a larger size, possibly 265/35/18, will help me lower my 60'(foot)times? Any real world experience with this, and any recommendations regarding tire/wheel size and brand would be appreciated. Also any driving, especially launching tips? Thanks.

Use the BFG drag tire on the stock rim www.tirerack.com
Also use the shifter to change gears like this

If you can be like this guy you should cut a good light

Thanks for the tip. I'm also interested in using a tire for the streets that also has decent wet weather handling.

Nitto 555's baby.

If you want to get 2 wheels/tires for just drag use... Try Mickey Thompson ET Street.
