Not a kill, but a nice encounter with a Dinan M5

Yesterday I was driving down to San Diego when I caught sight of a blue Dinan M5 making its way through traffic. I stayed with him until a spot opened up in traffic and he nailed it. He was gone in no time accompanioed by a great sound from the modified exhaust. I would have liked to stay on his tail but he still made it between some cars an I did not. Later, when I caught sight of him again and had some room, I floored it and flew by him just to show that my car (E500 sport) isn't the slowest either. Unfortunately, I had to exit the freeway then. Still, whoever you are out there, nice machine.

Was it badged or debagded? A friend of mine has a blue E39 540i with every Dinan mod imagineable and often gets mistaken for m5's. He has a personalized plate tho.
