C32 Vs C5 vette
I was cruising on the empty highway last night on my way home.. was cruising at about 75-80mph when I see a yellow C5 corvette with some graphics on the side and a loud exhaust cruising at about the same pace on the other lane next to me. The guy looks at me smiles and then hits it... I look at my Escort X50 and see that everything seems clear so I hit it as well. He took off first so I start reeling him in... I catch him at around 130mph and begin to pass him.. from here Im pulling ahead of him further and further until hes way back there... I laugh and look down at the speedo and unnoticably I was already going 175mph. Wow....what a rush!!! So then i let off...didnt want to push my luck and slow down. Then I see the vette still hauling *** trying to catch him... I come up to the sunpass and he slams his brakes right at the sunpass so he can move to pay lane. Haha... he got owned twice... 1 by the speed limiter, 2 by the sunpass!!! woot woot!!

on teh turnpike expressway they have 1 or 2 lanes which are "sunpass" lanes... a sunpass is a device you purchase that allows you to pass through these lanes and the sensors on those lanes detect your sunpass when you go through these lanes. Oh and you can drive right through these lanes at about 60mph or even once ive taken 1 at 100mph (not recommended), though they have a 25mph speed limit when passing through. Anyways, with the devices, u register them and everytime u pass the toll it deducts from your monthly amount. Its the way to go in south FL if you want to avoid being stuck in heavy traffic!!
we have that in SoCal as well. Ours called ExpressLane or something, but it's not actually there so that you don't have to wait in line to pay for the toll because there is none. It's there so that they don't have to get stuck in traffic like millions of others. I never used it because it's only on that one freeway anywayz.

Damn.... 175mph..... I was already scared when I went 140 mph.... not the car or myself..... but the cops..... (became a "cop" coward after getting 4 tickets in 2 months 3 years ago totaling $2K in additional expense
)... 'coz it would take me too long to slow down below speed limit when a cop shot me.
