2007 Mercedes SL550 Sport
looking for a Transmission for my 99 ML320

the transmission is shot in my ML320 and the repair is $1800 and up. looking for a reasonably priced transmission from a 98 or 99 ML320. thanks

You are best to have it repaired. The cost and risk of a used junkyard trans that you have no clue as to the history is potentially much more. If it were me I would opt for a MB reman trans from a dealer. You get what you pay for if you have not yet learned that you will with a used trans.

with the prices for transmission repair/replacement, you might want to check out AAMCO...If I'm not mistaken, they will replace ML transmissions w/rebuilds for 7-8 grand and a lifetime warranty is also available for a grand more.

When I have to replace mine..this is probably the route I will take.

Yeah I'd have to agree with this one. They have it listed as a REMAN 24 24 WARRANTY, which probably mean 24 months/24k miles... but I'd call to confirm. Talk to a guy there by the name of Andy. I just bought a radio from him and he was real easy to work with.

How many miles were on your tranmission?
