OK,
On my previous post regarding the BAS ESP ETS and ABS lights being on It's 20 minutes later and I've had to pull the battery to get what appears or is labeled as the 4ESP (p/n: 241010764.. I think the last digit is a 4) to quit running. I'm going to let it cool down and see if it quits, but now when I reconnect the battery it continues to run.
Where do I start my trouble shooting?
Thanks

The vehicle has cooled down and the pump has quit running.
The part number on it is: 06740821219706 and it mounts on the rear of what appears to be a brake distribution block and has a 4ESP on it.
Any suggestions on the problem and what the remedy is?

You got me!! I am not familar with part numbers. Are there a couple of hoses going to it?? Possibly coolant hoses?? If so could be the coolant pump. The E box fan is located in the area of the fuse/relay box on the driver's side of course under the hood.

Had a look at mine. Believe what you are looking at is the ABS unit. Can't say why yours is running after shut down as I thought it only worked with the engine running. In any case if in fact it is the ABS it should not be temp related. I would have a dealer have a look at this as it involves brakes--- safety issue.

It's the ABS main pump. Very likely the pump will have to be replaced;
not good news. Call the dealer and ask for the pricing of ABS pump.
Sorry... bad news.
